Transplant Stories

One of the main goals of Doubletake is to shine a light on the incredible stories each transplant patient and caregiver have to share. Storytelling has been a way people relate to one another for centuries. It is a way to gain knowledge, perspective, and experiences outside of your own.

Everyone’s story is unique and special. You never know what someone is going through and it is always so valuable to hear first-hand experiences. Engaging in other people’s lives and experiences provides a depth to ourselves and a more compassionate understanding of the intricate and beautiful lives we all lead.

These stories will be published here as we continue to gather more stories from people in the transplant and organ donation community.

If you have a story you would like to share, please email Sarah at sarah@doubletakefoundation.org or fill out our contact form, linked here.
